First, it's KFC. The food at this location tastes like the other thousands of KFC out there. You know what it's going to taste like. That's the nature of a fast food chain.
This store suffers from astoundingly poor customer service. I'm not talking about the front line staff...they are polite and cheerful which is a remarkable feat considering what then need to put up with from their higher-ups.
On two occasions I have been forced to wait for at least 20 mintutes for chicken. How does a KFC run out of fresh, hot chicken? It's never happened anywhere else. Today, a member of my party returned her meal because she had ordered all white meat. The manager actually argued that a thigh was white meat, and that she was wrong.
On top of all that, they ran out of ketchup. When I spend about $10.00 for a meal, I want ketchup. It's not the meal I wanted and paid for without it. If they would have told me that before I ordered my meal I would have gone elsewhere, or at least asked for a discount. Seriously, how does a fast food joint run out of ketchup? Poor management, that's how.
It's a shame the powers that be closed the St. Joseph Blvd location recently. I never had a problem there; they must have been managed better that the Innes Rd. location. I guess KFC rewards for incompetence.
Bottom line...the food is what it is: KFC, but not the kind with ketchup, whick I like more.
